What an amazing time I had working for the producers of "The Bachelor" on
their new reality show for the CW Network. In it, real life couples are
offered the wedding setting of their dreams where they will decide if they
do or they don't till death do them part, all in front of the cameras.
It was a thrill for me to be brought on board as a floral designer and
stylist for the Boston episode. I had a blast working with a team of
Boston's Best to learn the "behind the scenes" of such a huge production. I
was lucky that my dear friend Lauren from
Person and Killian
Photography was brought on board to capture the amazing details with her
camera.
The design of such a production for me always starts with a custom sketch,
showing color, detail and most importantly style. I was nervous, because
here I am designing a wedding that is just days away, I have not met the
bride and have no idea what will make her happy, aside from leering that she
loved yellow. I got a chance to review this sketch with the stunning bride
and her handsome groom on the Saturday before the wedding all in front of
the cameras. While the groom was tough and worried that his wedding would
look like an Easter Egg, I could tell that we were going to blow him
