So many people are surprised to find out that it is me who does the sketches
that you see through out the site. I have been drawing dresses and dreaming
of weddings and gorgeous houses since I was little. Fashion influences so
many aspects of our lives and as a designer it is fun to constantly have to
come up with new ideas to present to my clients. Whether it is ideas for
redecorating a house or putting together my ideas for a wedding, people seem
to like the sketches.
The design process here at my firm is the same for every creative project. I
first meet with a client to gain an understanding of what will inspire this
event. How will it be styled, and who are the real people behind the it.
From there, I get to work with my pads of paper and colored pencils to put
together ideas and the basis of the story that I will tell. From there
fabric samples or patterns for a wedding and many other details are put
together into a comprehensive, creative look as to what the finished project
will be.
What you see on line are projects that I have worked on over the years of
developing my business. With my new on-line magazine, I will be publishing
projects that are in the current creative process. In addition I will
discuss style trends and pass along unique and creative ideas to use in any
